Our requirements:

We have little interest in formal qualifications, but what we are interested in is good people, smart people, people who think on their toes and are prepared to go the extra mile. We don't implement half baked solutions, and we're not in the business of turning around lots of simple websites as quickly as we can. We are looking for a proven 2-3 years of web development experience with PHP as main language, at least 2 years of intense Drupal development experience, and an understanding of the wider internet and related technologies.

Our day to day work involves

  • Solving complex design and architectural problems.
  • working on high profile, complex, enterprise level Drupal setups.
  • Working with multiple developers in multiple development environments.
  • Working effectively in three tier development workflows (dev -> stage -> production).
  • Keeping all configuration in code (Features, exportables, drush make etc).
  • Version control of everything (Git).
  • Contribution to the Drupal community.
  • Some downtime to concentrate on your own Drupal related projects.

Additional points go to candidates with a wider and more rounded knowledge of the environment that we work in:

  • Experience with additional Source Control Management systems such as SVN.
  • Experience with scalable systems.
  • Experience with performance tuning systems.
  • History of Open source contributions.
  • Experience with automated unit testing systems (Simpletest etc).
  • Experience with agile methodologies (scrum, XP, TDD).
  • Thorough understanding of how web works (HTTP, AJAX lifecycle etc).
  • Understanding of Databases (RDBMS).
