Project overview

SystemSeed was contracted to take over existing ownership of bahamas.com through its Bahamian partner, Providence Technology Group. The Islands Of The Bahamas had a need for overall day-to-day Drupal support and maintenance for bahamas.com. The SystemSeed team quickly went to work to put the process and structure in place to support the site effectively. SystemSeed conducted a system audit in order to identify core Drupal configuration, installed modules and configuration, any known hacks or customization, role / profiles / permissions, and a review of the infrastructure and virtual development environments. A web-based ticketing tool was implemented to streamline the bahamas.com support process, as well as Service Level Agreements (SLA) were developed to provide formal commitment to our clients.

Several initiatives have begun to address opportunities within bahamas.com including multiple flash-to-Drupal conversions for functionality such as multimedia galleries (photo, video, etc). An automated workflow process is being deployed in coordination with a rearchitected development environment coupled with subversion (SVN) version control system integration.
